General description
The monitoring station of Sanabria Lake is located in a small building in the south edge of the lake; it has a laboratory, a boat and field measurement instruments.
Site history
The station started its activity in 1986 because of the concern arose in the Direction of the Natural Park in relation to the thophic state of the lake due to the increasing tourism.

Facilities
The station has a limnological analysis laboratory, an automatic meteorological station, a boat, measurement instruments and sampling equipments. Also, there are a meeting room and some offices.
